The case of a Saguenay girl who died after kissing her boyfriend who had just eaten peanut butter is tragic proof that trace amounts of peanuts can cause a fatal reaction, a Montreal food allergy specialist confirmed yesterday.
Christina Desforges, 15, died in a hospital Wednesday after receiving the kiss last weekend.
