new personal hero
someday, if everything goes really, really well, i want to be as cool as this guy.

also in my wierd weird little collection of crap that i get every day, someone told me that a graphic novel of the indian epic ramayana is now available online. this is one of the coolest books in all of vedic literature in my opinion, and to see it done graphically is really pretty nifty. check out how they render hanuman for example:

i don't know who's been paying attention to all the demonstrations going on in the Ukraine, but this little tidbit did pop up and hit me in the face. i remembered seeing pictures of Viktor Yuschenko over the summer and thinking about how kind of young and magnanimous he looked. then suddenly out of nowhere, i saw him on tv a week or so ago and he looks like someone has beaten him with the ugly stick. i did a little research and found this really interesting article on the whole story. most notable however is the fact that the changes in this man’s dace took place in the course of less than 5 months.
sometimes i feel so happy
sometimes i feel so sad
sometimes i feel just about everything
lately i’m just feeling bad
lately i’m just feeling bad
linger on
pale blue eyes
linger on
pale blue eyes
i thought of you as my mountaintop
i thought of you as my peak
i thought of you as just about everything
i had but couldn’t keep
i had but couldn’t keep
linger on
pale blue eyes
linger on
pale blue eyes
fitting this song showed up as i got home from going out and getting hammered at the sunset. it’s not nearly as nice as city in my opinion, but it will do the trick in a pinch.

i hope everyone has an enjoyable day of gorging themselves on roast beast.

everynow and then i find some pretty strange bizarre stuff on this here interweb. like this little photo from krappy.com, which is sort of like the australian version of Archie McPhee.
also, for those of you wanting to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the big sales on friday morning, target is offering to give you a wakeup call.
today i realized that it was time to upgrade my old cell phone. i’m kind of sad to see my old monochromatic nokia go, especially since it had such a rocking ring tone.

and tim just had to call his friend in chi-town to let him know.
the test post below now means i can post directly here from flickr. super duper cool, as it makes things a heck of a lot easier for me. it probably matters not in the least to the rest of you.
i’m not really sure that being the “text message king” is a title i’d really want. who are this guy’s subjects?
and if stupid dorky boys typing messages on their cellies isn’t funny enough, there’s also this item about the lady who is breastfeeding her puppy:
