As Callahan got the couple’s three children ready for school in Melbourne, a text dropped into the inbox of her mobile phone, she told New Idea magazine.

“Hey beautiful, I’m just talking to my kids, the back door’s open,” the message from Warne said.

“You loser, you sent the message to the wrong person,” Callahan sent back.

what self respecting blogger wouldn’t do their send up on the annual crapfest that is the mtv music awards? me. granted, i didn’t actually watch them, apart from brit brit’s “comeback” (really? it is quite possible that i could have done better lipsyncing.) and the extremely impressive chris brown bit. though someone on the internets (i forgot who and don’t feel like digging through the feeder to find it) noted that while it was cool that he went for the whole chaplin/keaton vaudevillian motif, you have to wonder how many people are saying “uhhhhh……what’s up with the black hitler?”. i don’t think cultural literacy is THAT far into the toilet yet but then again, i’m definitely out of touch with kids today. save for yo gabba gabba. jumpy jumpy jump jump jump jumpy jumpy JUMP JUMP JUMP.

my friend’s blog is better than mine

so brendan has a new blog he’s working on. seems similar to what mister mixtape (R.I.P?) was, but he’s using zip archives of mp3’s instead of individual mp3’s. he’s also posting up his own artwork to go with the mixes. pretty good stuff on these so far. check it out at the alchemist weekly.
