forget the fact that they are on top of the premier league right now.
forget that they play incredibly technical and beautiful football.
forget that their "kids" beat a very strong blackburn side last week (the average age of the team was 19.6).

just look at the effort the youngsters put into the match:

that’s 19 year old nicklas bendtner scoring the game winning header of tottenham last weekend.

for the last two weeks of trivia….

1) i’ll be raffling off the grandpa mug. tickets will be one dollar each, the winner will be announced after round 2. All the money collected will be donated to one of my favorite charities, coffee kids ( www.coffeekids.org)

2) in keeping with the nostalgic feel of the night, and the last night i’ll be seeing my mug, not only will i be using the questions from the very first city beverage trivia night, but the middle round will be (just like it was on November 10, 2004) Potent Potables.

3) we will have trivia night next week, and in keeping with longstanding (well, 3 years) tradition, the topic for NEXT week will be Dead or Alive? for round 2.

now we’ll never know who the crazy people are…

posted by: blinkingline filed under: Uncategorized |

first, bluetooth headsets for cell phones have eliminated the ability to tell who the freaking crazy people are. unless you can visibly see the tiny little headset, you don’t know if the person is having a conversation or just a crazy fool walking down the street. and now, advertisers are trying to beam messages STRAIGHT INTO YOUR BRAIN:

The billboard uses technology manufactured by Holosonic that transmits an “audio spotlight” from a rooftop speaker so that the sound is contained within your cranium. The technology, ideal for museums and libraries or environments that require a quiet atmosphere for isolated audio slideshows, has rarely been used on such a scale before. For random passersby and residents who have to walk unwittingly through the area where the voice will penetrate their inner peace, it’s another story.
